Before you build

A custom build costs far less than buying each part separately. Check our EZ Change Whips first. If your build matches an assembled whip, the assembled whip costs less, and we do not refund the price difference.

Hands-Free or Hands-On

• Hands-Free: a frosted, ground glass tip attaches to the heating element and stays in place while you inhale. Fits Hands-Free Vaporbrothers vaporizers.
• Hands-On (formerly "Standard"): our original design, first built in 2001. You hold the whip to the heater while you inhale, then pull it away between hits. Tilt your hand to redirect the airflow. The glass stays cooler, and the whip costs less. Fits Hands-On Vaporbrothers vaporizers. It may work on a Hands-Free vaporizer, but the airflow may not be as good. It does not attach to the heating element.

Changing screens

A high temperature silicone grip holds the screen between the whip tip and the handle. Pull the tip, drop in a fresh screen, and push it back in, in about 2 seconds. See the EZ Whip instructions.

Our glass

Every piece is laboratory grade borosilicate glass, kept to a uniform wall thickness. Many competitor whips use thin, low tolerance glass that wobbles over the heater and cracks.

Our ceramic

The ceramic parts are extremely dense, approximately 5 times stronger than glass. Ceramic is a good choice if your vaporizer sits on a glass table or above a concrete or tile floor.

The 16mm Vaporbrothers tip

We use a 16mm whip tip because it gives a better vaporizing experience and gets more out of your herb. The 19mm off the shelf size used by clones and competitors is easier to break, uses more herb, and is more prone to spilling it.

How to tell if you have a Hands-Free model

Look at the whip you have now. A red "HOT" or "CAUTION" emblem and a frosted, ground glass tip that attaches to the heating element mean you have a Hands-Free model.

Concentrate Tip (VB1.5 only)

On a VB1.5, the high setting is powerful enough for concentrates. Choose the Concentrate Glass Tip with Disc as your tip. It holds the Concentrate Disc securely. Clean the disc and the glass parts periodically in 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Fits Vaporbrothers only

These EZ Change Whips fit genuine Vaporbrothers vaporizers only. They are not compatible with clones, including Easy Vape Digital, VaporWarez, VaporBox, VaporCannon, VaporDoc, Pure Vaporizer, Got Vape Aroma Classic Vaporizer, the Vapor King Vaporizer, Pitara, and others not listed here.

EZ Change Whip Assembly Instructions:

1. Insert the Whip Handle and Mouthpiece onto the Hose (moisten the glass to insert).
2. Push the Whip Grip onto the Whip Handle
3. Place a Ceramic Screen in the open end of the Whip Grip.
4. Insert Whip Tip into open end of the Whip Grip, holding the Ceramic Screen firmly inside.

Tips: You can play around with this setup. the Whip Grip accepts 0.625" screens of any type (including the Vaporbrothers Mini .625" Screen). For better filtering and less particles in your mouth, place an additional Ceramic Screen in the other end of the Whip Grip. Never use brass screens.

To Disassemble:
1. Disassembly is easy if you "bend" the glass parts at the Whip Grip until they come apart.
2. DO NOT disassemble while glass is hot!

Vaporbrothers EZ Change Whip Cleaning:

1. Clean your Whip Grip by soaking it separately in alcohol or boiling water. the longer you soak it, the cleaner it will become. Save the solution for soaking the glass parts and ceramic screen later. The Whip Grip should not soak with any other item to ensure the silicone does not get contaminated.
2. Clean the glass parts and ceramic screen by removing the whip grip with the tip still attached. Be careful that the glass has cooled down before disassembly. Route the holes of the screen with a small paper clip and blow through the back of the whip grip to dislodge additional material. For complete cleaning, soak the parts in alcohol, boiling water, or your favorite cleaning solution.
3. Cleaning the hose can be difficult, Vaporbrothers recommends replacing it with a new one. Never use alcohol on the hose.

EZ Change Whip Warning:

1. Wait for the glass to cool down before disassembly.
2. If a glass piece breaks, disassemble very carefully. Do not inhale from chipped or cracked glass.
3. The pick tool may break the ceramic screen if you stick it in the holes. Use a paper clip or thin wire.
