How to use the beads

How many beads do I need?
Fill your bubbler until the beads are above the area where bubbles are produced. For our "High Performance Hydrator" and other small size bubblers, it takes most of a pack to fill the space just above the showerhead. Most waterpipes use anywhere from 1 to 8 packs. Check the table above. In general, fill your waterpipe with enough beads to cover the holes at the bottom of the down stem. Add water. You may add too much water and then pour it out gradually until the splash is not inhaled on a strong rip. 

How do the beads work?
Beads improve cooling and filtering of vapor or smoke by breaking up large air bubbles, greatly increasing surface area in contact with the water.

How do you clean the beads?
We clean the beads by leaving them in the bubblers and pouring in 91% isopropyl alcohol. Hold both ends to keep the beads and alcohol in, careful not to shoot alcohol in your eyes. Shake gently allowing the beads to move around. Rinse with clean water thoroughly until all alcohol odor is gone. For deeper cleaning, remove the beads and wash them in a jar.

How does the stem fit in after filling with beads?
After dropping in the beads, cover the large hole with your finger and slowly tilt the bubbler onto its side so the beads shift to the top and sides. Then insert the stem once the path is clear.

What effect do the beads have on vapor?
Beads break the vapor into many smaller bubbles, increasing surface contact with the water. This gives smoother hits and less chugging (less vibration from bubbling).

Use these as "terp pearls" inside a banger! 

Each pack contains at least 100 pieces of 8mm glass beads.
