Repair Coverage
Repairs are free within 1 year of purchase for manufacturer defects. After 1 year, repair is a flat $100.00.
If the wooden box is damaged, replacing it is an extra fee.
If your vaporizer fails within 1 year of our repair due to a manufacturer defect, we will repair it again for free.
Please note that scientific glass is very strong but builds up microscopic damage from months or years of handling, sometimes breaking unexpectedly.
Turnaround
Turnaround is about 2 weeks, not including shipping time. You can request a rush on your repair, although that does not expedite shipping.
Vaporizers Built Before August 2004
Vaporizers with a serial number under 29774 (built August 2004 or earlier) cannot be repaired. The Vaporizer Upgrade Program gets you a brand new vaporizer at 30% off retail.
Vaporizer Upgrade Program
Any Vaporbrothers box vaporizer owner can get a brand new vaporizer at 30% off retail, whether you bought from us, a dealer, or secondhand. We cannot repair other brands, but owners of other brand box vaporizers are eligible too.
Sending us your old unit is optional. If you send it, we will use its parts or fix it up to give to a veteran or medical patient in need. See the Vaporizer Upgrade Program.

Right to Repair
We acknowledge and support the consumer's right to exercise autonomy over their possessions. Once you purchase a Vaporbrothers Vaporizer, it becomes your property, and we do not seek to control your usage of it. However, we do want to emphasize that this device operates at a high voltage and contains internal components that are not meant to be serviced by users.
The Vaporbrothers Vaporizer has exposed internal connections and a heating element that can reach temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Assembling the heating element out of place, even by a few millimeters, can cause the wooden housing to overheat, posing a safety risk. Therefore, we highly recommend that only experienced individuals with a background in electronics repair and a good understanding of household electricity attempt to repair the vaporizer.
Any work done on your vaporizer outside of Vaporbrothers repair service voids free repair of manufacturer defects.

Adjusting Your Vaporizer's Heat
A vaporizer that is operating at a level that is too hot or too cold can be adjusted by a micro screwdriver if you follow our procedure safely. It is very easy to break the adjustment or turn it too far, so you might kill your vaporizer unless you do this carefully. Ask us if you have any questions.
