Choosing the right vaporizer whip for your Vaporbrothers desktop vaporizer starts with knowing your vaporizer type:
Hands-Free — The vaporizer whip stays connected via a ground glass connection to the heater tip. No hands required while drawing.
Hands-On (formerly OG Standard) — You manually hold the whip to the vaporizer while drawing in air.
All-Glass Whips are the original Vaporbrothers vaporizer whip design. The screen sits tightly within a glass groove rather than being removable. The bowl is wider at the bottom and holds more dry herbs than the EZ Change design, which many customers prefer. All-Glass Whips can be cleaned by drawing boiling water through them, soaking in alcohol, or by turning the vaporizer up and drawing hot air through the whip.
If you want a removable, easy-to-change screen, choose an EZ Change Whip instead.
All-Glass Whips come in Hands-Free and Hands-On (formerly OG Standard) versions.
Preferred by old-school Vaporbrothers fans for its simplicity. The Mini Whip has a smaller inside diameter so herbs stack taller in the bowl rather than spreading out on the screen, which is better for convection vaporizing. You get full hits from a smaller amount of dry herbs.
The simple flared bell-shaped tip lets you rotate the whip during the draw to redirect airflow and brown your herbs more evenly. Compatible with all Vaporbrothers vaporizers in the hands-on fashion. This whip does not stay connected to the heater on its own and is not a Hands-Free model. It can be used with a Hands-Free vaporizer but will not stay attached to the heater element without being held.
Note: Mini Whips use .625 inch replacement screens, not the .75 inch screens used on other VB whips.
EZ Change Whips break apart into pieces, making it easy to replace parts, change the screen, or clean quickly. Available in ceramic, glass, or a hybrid of both.
Hands-Free EZ Change models have an inner taper that matches the taper on the Hands-Free vaporizer heater tip.
Hands-On (formerly OG Standard) EZ Change models have a simple flare that connects to Hands-On vaporizers. Hands-On whips may be used with Hands-Free vaporizers if held manually during the inhale, but the fit is not designed for the Hands-Free heater tip and some users may notice a difference in draw.
The hybrid glass and ceramic versions combine durable ceramic construction with a glass whip tip that lets you see through to your dry herbs.
Hands-Free vaporizer whips are available in All-Glass and EZ Change versions.

How to tell if your vaporizer is a Hands-Free model: If your current Vaporbrothers whip has a red Caution emblem and attaches by ground glass to the heating element, your vaporizer is a Hands-Free model. This whip will work with all Hands-Free Vaporbrothers vaporizers.
Take care not to damage the precision ground surfaces or let residue build up. If you need replacement parts, all vaporizer whip replacement parts are available here.
