Q: Is your clear plastic hose safe?
A: Our hose material is specially formulated for VB and is the safest material we know can do the job. We have eliminated toxic substances common to plastic tubing such as BPA, Phthalates (DEHP Free), and many others.
While this hose is considered Class IV medical grade and exceeds FDA requirements, as with any plastics, it could produce harmful fumes if burned. Do not allow your hose to contact the vaporizer’s heater or expose to flame. If your hose softens or melts onto a hot surface you should not use it until it has cooled down and/or rinsed with water.
